I have a nephew. He is 15 months old and he is a crazy, wild boy. My brother-in-law likes to dress him up in nerd clothes (much to my sister’s disapproval) and with stylish nerd clothes comes rocking hair. I’m talking a mohawk. We didn’t want to use a gel that contains harmful chemicals. Upon doing some research, I found Little Roseberry Hair Gel.
What we like
- It’s safe for kids
- Light hold so it won’t leave their hair with nasty buildup
- Ideal for mohawk
- They use organic aloe
What we don't like:
- Nothing
Pro Tips:
Since Little Roseberry is a light hold gel, it's not ideal for crazily elaborate hairstyles. Also, keep in mind it works best when used on wet hair.
How we picked: We were looking for a safe, kid-friendly hair gel for my nephew. It was surprisingly hard to find hair gels without harsh chemicals, fragrances, and which were free of sulfates. Little Roseberry Hair Gel fit all of those requirements. Plus, the ingredients list was very short and I like that!
Ingredients list: Aloe Barbadensis (Organic Aloe) Leaf Juice, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel Water), Phenoxyethanol Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Vegetable Glycerin, Ethyl Alcohol (Organic Alcohol from Cane Sugar), Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Tetrasodium EDTA
